Why ETSU Health?
ETSU's College Of Nursing has established a network of nurse-managed practice sites that provide thousands of primary care and outreach visits each year. These sites care for some of our most vulnerable residents of Upper Northeast Tennessee.
Our nurse-managed sites provide evidence-based care for patients seeking primary care, prenatal care and/or socialization needs for various population groups in our community. Both our Johnson City Community Health Center and Johnson City Downtown Day Clinic are two of only a few nurse-managed community health centers in the nation to be designated as Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC).
We accept all major insurances and offer a sliding fee scale option. Anyone may apply for the sliding fee discount no matter if insured or uninsured. No one is turned away for their inability to pay.
