Dr. Alexis Bowder is compassionate, dedicated and deeply committed to providing personalized care. Her experiences have instilled in her a strong sense of empathy and a genuine desire to help her patients and their families lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Dr. Bowder believes in fostering a partnership with her patients and their families. Every patient's health journey is unique, and she is here to support and guide them every step of the way.
Dr. Bowder was drawn to ETSU Health because of its strong commitment to community health and personalized patient care. She is inspired by the organization’s active role in serving underserved communities, both locally and globally. She speaks three languages — English, Spanish and Haitian Creole — and is currently learning French.
Dr. Bowder is married and has two sons and a supportive husband. She and her family enjoy spending time together hiking and traveling.
