Lisa Trent always knew she wanted to be a nurse. After overcoming her own health challenges as a child, she was inspired by the compassion of the nurses who cared for her.
Lisa has served her hometown community with dedication — first as an registered nurse at ETSU Health’s school-based health clinics, and in 2025, she returned to as a nurse practitioner, grateful to once again serve in a setting that brings essential care to rural communities and schools.
She is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages. Her goal is to treat each person like family and ensure they receive the care and respect they deserve. Don’t let the name “school-based health clinic” fool you — adults of any age are welcome, and the care provided by her and the entire team is top-notch.
