Judy Rice has always felt called to support those struggling with mental health. Becoming a nurse practitioner has allowed her to combine clinical expertise with compassionate care to truly make a difference.
With nearly three decades of experience working with individuals facing some of the most complex and challenging mental health concerns, she has developed a deep understanding of the clinical, social and emotional needs of vulnerable populations. Her approach is grounded in empathy, respect and a commitment to meeting patients where they are.
Judy has had the privilege of practicing at the ETSU Health Johnson City Downtown Day Center for more than 28 years. She was drawn to the clinic because its mission closely aligned with her values and passion for serving vulnerable populations. She also teaches at ETSU, which keeps her engaged with the latest research and best practices — knowledge that directly enhances the care she provides in clinical settings.
