At one time, Meredith Prosak was uncertain about her career path but knew she was committed to pursuing something meaningful. The social work program at ETSU provided her with the education and insight necessary to discover that social work was the ideal profession for her. The field’s versatility has allowed her to serve a wide range of populations through case management and clinical intervention. This flexibility has enabled her to identify and engage with the population that most inspires her, in ways that are both impactful and personally fulfilling.

She views the therapeutic relationship as deeply personal and is continually inspired by the vulnerability patients bring into the clinical space in pursuit of growth and healing. Meredith likens her clients to artists, gradually painting their lives one layer at a time. She considers it an honor to witness and support this process, and her goal is always to help patients achieve their own vision of a life that is beautiful and fulfilling. Meredith gains significant energy from her community and considers it a privilege to be part of the healing process for those she serves.
