Even before becoming a nurse, Amanda Moorhouse knew she wanted to be a nurse practitioner. She felt that the role would give her greater autonomy in helping patients develop their care plans and make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
Amanda’s family is from East Tennessee. Although she has lived all over the country, Tennessee has always felt like home. She loves the people, the changing seasons, and the mountains.
As a practitioner, her goal is to meet patients where they are and create a patient-centered approach to their healthcare.
