Tori Mingo became a social worker out of a deep passion for supporting others and a strong commitment to advocating for individuals during some of the most challenging times in their lives. After witnessing and experiencing the impact of inequality and the resilience of communities facing systemic barriers, she was driven to make a meaningful impact by helping to break those barriers.

Deeply committed to serving her community, Tori strives to support patients in understanding how lifestyle changes can significantly enhance their overall well-being. She is passionate about helping patients recognize the powerful connection between the mind and body. Tori believes in building meaningful, trusting relationships that empower patients to recognize their own strengths. She walks alongside them through both challenges and celebrations, offering support and encouragement every step of the way.

Working at the Johnson City Community Health Center brings her immense fulfillment, and she believes joining ETSU Health is one of the best decisions of her career. She genuinely loves the patients she serves and the holistic approach her team takes to care for them — addressing not only physical health but also behavioral, mental and social needs.
