Dr. Stephen Sauer’s goal as a physician is to present the best evidence for health and well-being available to his patients in plain language to empower them to make the best decisions for their health. He sees himself as his patients’ advocate and strives to ensure they understand their options, enabling them to take control of their health care decisions.

Dr. Sauer approaches patient care with compassion and respect, treating every patient as if they were a member of his own family and creating a foundation of trust and understanding in his practice. As a Christian, he sees medicine and his approach to patient care as a calling.

Family drew him here, alongside the area’s strong sense of community, opportunities and natural beauty.

Before entering medicine, Dr. Sauer had a career as a professional athlete — an experience that shaped his resilience and ability to connect with others. This background has made him a stronger, more empathetic physician, dedicated to helping his patients achieve lasting health and well-being.
