Dr. Brieanne Horton became a physician after seeing firsthand how fear and limited understanding of healthcare can affect lives. When her grandmother died from colon cancer at age 35, the experience inspired her to help others feel more comfortable seeking care and advocating for their health.

Dr. Horton is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care while taking the time to listen, answer questions and educate patients. She believes building trust and maintaining open communication helps patients feel empowered to make informed decisions about their health.

Staying with ETSU Health after residency was a natural fit, allowing her to give back to the community that has played such an important role in her life.

Dr. Horton strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected and supported. Her goal is to build lasting relationships and partner with each patient to develop a care plan that reflects their individual needs and goals.
